This traditional Setesdal jacket has one of the most recognized Norwegian patterns, and origins from the Setesdal valley in the south of Norway. The small v-shaped dots are known as "lusestrikk", a pattern you can find in many traditional Norwegian sweaters and jackets. Additionally, this jacket has crosses, which people believed to protect from evil spirits and black magic. The jacket has pewter clasps and an embroidered band with the "rosepaint"-pattern.
